Wrestling fans are awesome. Everyone over the age of 10 knows pro wrestling is “fake” in the sense that the outcomes and storylines are all scripted. And yet you’d never know it judging by the way fans react. They get just as worked as you do when the coach of your favorite football team calls a passing play instead of a running play and you lose the big game. Or when the manager of your favorite baseball team puts the wrong pitcher on the mound in the bottom of the ninth and the other team hits a walk-off homer. It’s really incredible, and a whole other form of entertainment in and of itself.
Today, with Wrestlemania 31 coming up this weekend and powerful rasslin’ rage about to flow like the Mighty Mississippi, let’s all celebrate with this list of wrestling fans bein’ wrestling fans. It probably won’t make you want to fork over $59.95 to watch the big event live, but it will make you eager to see the GIFs all over the internet the next day.
Who cares that no one else in the arena is dancing? Not this guy, that's for sure. He's so excited, and he just can't hide it.
29. Like He Just Don't Caya
I had to do a double-take with this one. For a few seconds I thought that was Stiffler.
28. Bro Is PUMPED
This guy looks like a 13-year-old girl at a One Direction concert. It's adorable.
27. So Excited!
Just look at this poor little John Cena fan with her little wristbands. She's so sad! Then she seems to remember, wait, it's fake.
26. The Hurt Is Real You Guys
Seriously, this man-boy looks like Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys, only with a sweet blonde mullet.
25. Unhappy Trailer Park Boy
Look at that look of intense delight on this girls face! I guess it wasn't just a clever alliterative ring name after all. He really did ravish.
24. Ravishing Rick Ravishes
Look at that backward cap and that defiant come-at-me-bro arm gesture. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this guy is tough.
23. What Up Bro?
Wrestling fans aren't just at wrestling events. They're everywhere—like at Pittsburgh Pirates game.
John Cena immitating Jeff Hardy? Oh, that's NOT cool John Cena. That's not cool at all. You've pissed off the wrong group of suburban 11-year-old boys.
I'm gonna guess this guy probably had a few beers.
19. More Dancing!
That's some pretty interesting hair. And she's obviously very excited to see John Cena.
You want to see pro wrestlers really hurt somebody? Climb over the barricade and jump into the ring. You'll experience the pain first-hand.
17. Ring Invader
That's as good a videobomb as you're going to see at a sporting event. Well done, guy.
16. Epic Videobomb
I wouldn't think much of this one if not for the fact that NO ONE else in this kid's section is at all excited. He must have just eaten a bunch of cotton candy or something.
15. Excited Kid
How that saying go? That family that attend professional wrestling events together in matching John Cena outfits stays together?
Yeah, I think that's it.
14. Cena Family
Look at this girl. She's only three but already cheering at a sixth grade level. I think we've got a wrestling fan prodigy on our hands.
13. Adorable Wrestling Girl
Where have I seen this reaction before?
12. Just Can't Handle It
Clearly, this was the Ultimate Warrior's ultimate fan. He's got the official Ultimate Warrior Wrestling Buddies doll, and he's wearing a stupid hat-like thing.
11. No Crying in Baseball, Lots of Crying in Wrestling
This kid is the anti-McKayla Maroney. He's just seen him some pyrotechnics, and he can't f--king believe how awesome that sh-t is.
This little dude it hardcore. If he were just a little bit bigger I would actually be afraid to mess with him.
Well he's feisty. And by feisty I mean drunk.
8. The Shadowboxer
This is the second time we've seen Pirates fans on this list. Obviously, they are Major League Baseball's biggest WWE fans.
7. Pirates Fans Love Wrestling
Nobody else has been moved to even stand up, let alone clap furiously. These guys might be on drugs.
6. Happy Clappers
Nobody beats the Undertaker. Nobody. So when Brock Lesnar actually did beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 30, people absolutely lost their sh-t.
Actually, wrestling fans weren't just in a state of disbelief when the Undertaker lost. They were in agony. Pure, unadulterated agony.
That is the most amazing reaction to anything I've ever seen in my life. In fact, I just sat here looking at it for about five straight minutes.
Notice the two kids in the background, too. This is some high quality family entertainment right here.
3. Best. Reaction. Ever.
It wasn't until I saw this little old lady take a swipe at Hollywood Hogan that I truly knew his transformation from American Hero to wrestling's greatest heel was complete. And to be honest, a little piece of my childhood died.
2. Granny Hates Hollywood
About four seconds later, everyone in the arena spontaneously lit on fire and burned to a crisp. True story.
