Henrik Stenson Snaps a Club Over His Leg at The Masters (Video)
I’m always impressed when I see a Major League Baseball player break his bat over his knee after a strikeout. Sure, the strikeout part looks pretty bad, but everyone strikes out at some point. Not everyone can follow it up by snapping a thick piece of lumbar over their leg, however.
So how about a golf club? Should we be impressed when we see someone snap an iron over their leg?
Not one bit. But Henrik Stenson did it anyway after hitting a tree with his second shot on the par-5 15th during Friday’s second round at The Masters.
Stenson went on to boogie the hole, but even with a 36-hole score of 2-over, it looks like the Swede is still going to make the cut.
Hopefully he doesn’t end up needing that iron at some point this weekend.
