NBA Ref Joey Crawford Falls on His Face in the Middle of Raptors-Hornets Game (Video)
Joey Crawford is the most famous referee in the National Basketball Association. Or, to be more precise, the most infamous. For years the guy has made fans either scratch their heads or pull out their hair with his insane calls, bizarre prancing, and terrible sense of timing. However, during last night’s Raptors-Hornets game, for once, instead of ruining a game, Crawford’s antics just made everybody laugh.
Just seconds into his final game of the regular season, Crawford was jogging down the court when he inexplicably tripped over his own foot, went limp like a sack of potatoes, and fell to the floor.
It was seriously the funniest things we’ve seen all year. Take a look:
You’d definitely don’t expect that from a guy known for his fancy footwork. Luckily, Crawford is (technically) a pro, so he popped right back up and got back to work.
Personally, I hope the 63-year-old never retires. It depends on who is playing, of course, but quite often I find that he is the most entertaining person on the court.
