Mavs Fans Have a Note to Escape Work Early for Game 3
Mavs fans may be a little discouraged after last night’s runaway loss to the alley-oop happy Houston Rockets, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be out in full force on Friday for an uncharacteristically early 6 PM tip-off. And the Mavs organization is covering the bases by offering up a sick note, courtesy of Dr. Mark Cuban, that will give fans an iron-clad excuse.
Because so many sick people look to bail on work at 5 PM on a Friday. Gosh, I hope no one really needs an excuse for that.
Here’s the Tweet. Feel free to print, copy, and distribute in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area if you’re around.

Please note that Mark Cuban is actually a billionaire basketball owner, and not a doctor. Thus, if you are ACTUALLY sick, do not attend the Mavs game. Go home and rest or see a real doctor. Following Cuban’s advice if you’re sick would probably kill you—but would also be pretty funny.
