Australian Rugby Player Gives Amazing Post-Game Interview, Apparently in English (Video)
Meet Australian rugby player Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins. He plays for Australian club Western Force in the international Super 15 competition. And he is awesome.
In his native Australia, Cummins has long been revered as a down-to-earth dude who gives fantastic, candid interviews peppered with colorful expressions. In fact, some of his expressions are so colorful that even some Australians do not know what the hell he is talking about. So the rest of the supposedly English-speaking world? We stand no chance.
Just take a look at this interview he gave after a hard-fought loss last weekend:
Did you make out the part about Niagara Falls at the 0:10 mark? Well, that’s cockney slang for balls. As in testicles. So what Honey Badger meant was, losing that game felt like a punch to the balls.
And “bee’s wanger” at the 0:38 mark? Yeah, he’s actually talking about a bee penis. He means it was a close game, with the two teams separated by a bee’s penis, which is obviously very small.
As for that thing on his forehead…it seems taping a rag to his forehead with electrical tape is just Honey Badger being Honey Badger.
His fans certainly embrace it:
