Bartolo Colon Shows Off Athleticism, Chases Down Base Runner (Video)

Bartolo Colon chase down base runner

Say what you will about Bartolo Colon, the man’s still got it.

Sure, he may be 41-years-old and a very rotund 283-pounds, but he’s also sporting a 4-0 record and a 2.77 ERA in his first four starts following today’s 6-3 win over the Braves. ┬áHe even has two RBIs on the season, and during today’s game, he did the unthinkable when he ran off the mound and chased down a Braves base runner before tagging him for an out.

Sure, that base runner may have been Braves catcher A.J. Pierzynski, but this is Bartolo Colon we’re talking about here. Seeing him chase down Mr. Met would impress me.

Prepare to be amazed:

Have you ever seen Bartolo Colon run like that?

If he keeps this up, he can expect to be peeing in a cup in the very near future (if he hasn’t already).
