Camden Yards is Empty For Today’s White Sox-Orioles Game (Photos)
After postponing Monday and Tuesday’s games between the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards as a result of the Freddie Gray protests that have taken over the city’s streets, Wednesday’s matinee match-up between the two teams is being played in an empty stadium, void of any fans due to safety concerns.
The only people who were allowed to attend today’s ballgame were the players, coaches, umpires, press, and a couple of scouts. And the result was a rather eerie sight inside Camden Yards.
Here are some photos via various Twitter accounts:

The White Sox’ Adam Eaton even shared this wisecrack on Twitter:
We are gonna do our best to take the crowd out of it early.. Wish us luck..

The White Sox may have taken the fans out of the game, but it hasn’t helped, as the Orioles seemed to have taken Eaton’s team out of it early, leading 7-0 after just four innings of play.
