Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn Breakup: Why God, Why?
Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn breakup? There’s one less reason for anybody to care about the annual Masters Par 3 Tournament.
The superstar athletes announced their split on Sunday. But according to the carefully crafted statements published online, it wasn’t technically a breakup. It was a mutual decision based on mutual admiration and mutual respect and mutual mutuality.
Here’s the statement from Tiger’s website:
“Lindsey and I have mutually decided to stop dating,” said Tiger Woods.
“I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I’ll always cherish our time together. She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family.
“Unfortunately, we lead very hectic lives and are both competing in demanding sports. It’s difficult to spend time together.”
And here’s the statement from Vonn’s Facebook page:
After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.
As you can see, their PR people couldn’t even agree on whether their lives were very hectic or incredibly hectic. Awkward!
Of course, the writing was kinda already on the wall after Vonn told Seth Meyers just two weeks ago that she doesn’t even like golf…
