Marshawn Lynch Will Be a Character in Call of Duty: Black Ops III (Video)
Up until now, if you wanted to be Marshawn Lynch in a video game, your only option was Madden.
Starting this November, however, you will have another option. This week it was announced in ESPN the Magazine that Marshawn Lynch will also be a character in the latest edition of the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
It seems highly unlikely that his COD character will actually be called Marshawn Lynch. After all, the game is about cybernetically enhanced soldiers in the year 2065. But the new video game character will look like Marshawn right down to the gold teeth. And, more importantly, it will embody (virtually) the spirit of Beast Mode…which Lynch describes as “shooting up everything but always fighting for a bigger picture.”
Of course, we already knew that Marshawn is a pretty big gamer. However, his love for COD probably runs deeper than everyone realized. Turns out he’s been playing it since his college days at Cal over nine years ago, and he still logs in to play against current and former teammates because he says “it’s a cool way to keep in contact.” (Texting is so 2013.)

Seriously, is anybody actually going to play Black Ops III as anyone other than Marshawn Lynch?
