Former Ravens Cheerleader Molly Shattuck Pleads Guilty to Rape
Back in November of last year, former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader Molly Shattuck was charged with rape after investigators learned that she had taken up an intimate relationship with one of her son’s classmates—which eventually led to her performing oral sex on the 15-year-old boy at a rented beach house in Bethany Beach.
Today, Molly pled guilty to fourth-degree rape, a charge that comes with a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
As part of her plea deal, the 48-year-old mother of two can no longer be unsupervised around children, except for her own. She will also be forced to undergo DNA and HIV tests, a mental health evaluation, and sexual disorder counseling. Worst of all, she’ll have to register as a sex offender for 25 years on Delaware’s list—and because she lives in Maryland, the Delaware police will notify Maryland officials about her status as a sex offender, and they’ll decide whether she needs to register in the state of Maryland as well.
All of that is in addition to what she receives during her sentencing, which is set to take place on August 21.
