Johnny Manziel To Drop His Money Celebration
Looks like little Johnny Manziel is all grown up now.
What would make us suggest such a thing? The Cleveland Browns quarterback told members of the media that he’ll be dropping his trademark money celebration this season. That’s what.
While speaking with the Cleveland media for the first time since his 10-week rehab stint back in April, Johnny Football also said that he felt his rookie season was a disaster, as his on- and off-field issues often became a distraction for the team.
“I feel bad about that throughout the last months of my life really thinking back and seeing how much of my life outside of this field and outside of this locker room was documented,” Manziel said. “It’s not fair for Joe Haden to be having to answer questions about me every day. It’s not fair for Joe Thomas and all these guys to just continue to have questions asked about me. I don’t think that’s fair at all and I don’t want that on them.”
Does this mean we can expect to see a new and improved Johnny Manziel, sans money celebration, once the 2015 NFL season kicks off? Only time will tell.
