The All-Star Celeb Game Features Snoop Dogg and a Bunch of Less Fun Celebrities
In case you thought the stakes of a home field advantage wasn’t enough to get you to tune into the MLB All-Star game, maybe the Celebrity and Legends Softball Game will be able to blind you, because there’s so much starpower that my retinas are smoking just typing this. In Cincinnati, we’ll get AARON BOONE!
You want ERIC DAVIS? YOU GOT HIM!
ANDY DALTON? HE’S UNSURPRISINGLY AVAILABLE AND IN TOWN.
Famed softball hottie Jennie Finch? She’ll be throwin’ heat. Possibly to diminutive Hunger Games star JOSH HUTCHERSON.
That’s right. PEETA WILL BE THERE.
Also in attendance (because the all-caps thing will get old for all the names) will be: Fred Lynn, Nick Lachey, Macklemore, Rob Riggle, Jordin Sparks, Miles Teller, Chad Lowe, and a whole bunch of older National League players that I don’t feel like typing.
Oh, ok. Vlad Guerrero. Ozzie Smith. Paul O’Neil. Andre Dawson.
And, because I like to bury the lead on stories like this, Snoop Dogg will also be there. My prediction is Snoop Dogg will hit a near-homer against the wall, but will get thrown out at second because he’s a little too chill when it comes to base running.
The event will take place at the Great American Ballpark on July 12th, so clear your damn calendars.
