This Andy Murray Serve Was Juuust a Bit Outside (Video)
Andy Murray is the no. 3 men’s tennis player in the world. He won the US Open in 2012, and in 2013 he became the first British man to win Wimbledon in 77 years. So he is very good at what he does. And today Murray advanced to the semifinals of Wimbledon with a straight-sets victory over Canada’s Vasek Propisil.
As sharp as Murray looked, however, there was a very brief moment today in which you never would have believed he actually gets paid to play tennis.
Early in the first set, already up a break and serving at 2-1, Andy Murray hit one of the absolute worst serves (non-shank division) you will ever see by a professional tennis player.
Seriously. It’s bad.
Take a look:
In the immortal words of fake Cleveland Indians announcer Harry Doyle, that Andy Murray serve was juuust a bit outside.
