Want to Watch the Final Round of the British Open? Get Out of Work with This British Open Doctor’s Note (Pic)

If you’re a golf fan and you have to work today, you might be a little bummed that you’re missing out on golf history.

For just the second time in the 144-year history of the British Open, the champion will be crowned on a Monday. If that champion is Paul Dunne, who starts Round 4 at -12 with a share of the lead, it will be the first time an amateur has won a golf major since 1933. If that champion is Jordan Spieth, who starts Round 4 at -11, just one back of the lead, that’ll make three majors in a row for the American and set him up for a potential calendar Grand Slam at the PGA Championship next month.

Now, maybe you’re a big shot at work and can take off whenever you want. And if so, congratulations! However, if you’re not a big shot, you might be a little desperate. So hell, you might as well print out this British Open doctor’s note and give it a shot. I mean, you’re always complaining about how your boss is an idiot, right?

On the off chance that this doesn’t work…well, there’s always the ESPN leaderboard.
