Ronda Rousey Told Bethe Correia “Don’t Cry” After UFC 190 Knockout (GIF)
During that nasty staredown prior to their main event at UFC 190, Bethe Correia repeatedly told Ronda Rousey not to cry as the two women stood face-to-face.
Rousey remembered those comments that were made by the Brazilian challenger. And when she disposed of Correia in just 34 seconds via knockout on Saturday, she had a very similar message for her beaten-up opponent.
Here’s how Rousey explained it during her post-fight press conference:
“I said the exact same thing she was saying to me at weigh-ins. You know, she was screaming in my face at weigh-ins. She was saying, ‘Don’t cry.’ So I turned around to her after I knocked her out and I said, ‘Don’t cry.'”
Moral of the story: Don’t f*ck with Ronda Rousey.
