Watch and Be Amazed By This Behind-the-Back Home Run (Video)

behind-the-back home run

When regular home runs are getting too boring, it’s nice to be able to switch things up. If you’reĀ Renaud Lefort of the Montreal Les 4 Chevaliers, that means, as a right-hander, stepping into the left-handed batters box and blasting a dinger.

It might be the strangest swing I’ve ever seen, but he’s either got it down pat, or is strong enough that he can put some power into the awkward swing. Either way…impressive.

There isn’t much else to say, but I do wonder how he managed to convince the manager to do that in a game. I mean, there weren’t any runners on base, but still, how many runs do you need before you put this play into effect? I think at least seven runs up in the eighth inning, right?
