Here’s What the Texans-Redskins Brawl Looked Like on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ (Videos)

texans-redskins brawl

After the scrimmage between the Texans and Redskins devolved into a street brawl over the weekend, Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon told ESPN that the violence was all a big conspiracy between players on both teams to get out of practice.

Of course, Garcon was joking. It wasn’t a conspiracy to get out of practice early. The Texans-Redskins brawl was a conspiracy to spice up the premiere episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks.

Okay, now I’m joking. But you know the show’s producers were delighted when the teams got into it during their joint practice on Saturday. Sure, we had already seen footage of the brawls. But we had neither the audio nor the entertaining commentary from the Texans’ Brian Cushing and JJ Watt.

During one of the brawls, Watt says of Pierre Garcon, “He’s like 112 pounds. He may want to stay the f*ck back.” To which Cushing replies, “Every year in Indy, he’s always talking.”

If you missed Tuesday night’s premier, don’t worry. HBO will re-air episodes of Hard Knocks on Wednesdays at 11PM ET.
