Graphic Designer Creates NBA Rapper Uniforms Inspired by Cities’ Most Famous Hip Hop Artists (Pics)
It’s been a while since we’ve seen a uniform or logo redesign, which suggest maybe people are starting to run out of ideas. I mean, NFL Logos as penises was pretty funny, but where do you go from there?
Luckily, someone finally came up with a new one: NBA rapper uniforms, which are basically just NBA uniforms tweaked to reflect a design element from a given team’s most famous hometown hip hop artist.
The idea and artistry comes to us courtesy of a graphic designer named Patso Dimitrov. Unfortunately, he didn’t do every NBA team, so there’s no MC Hammer Warriors jersey or Pit Bull Heat jersey. But he did do Kanye and the Bulls, Nas and the Knicks, Drake and the Raptors, Outkast and the Hawks, and Eminem and the Pistons.
Here’s a sample:
It’s not the most creative logo redesign we’ve seen, but it’s not bad.
