If you play poker and you’ve ever been dealt a royal flush, chances are it did not win you $20,000.

That’s how much it won Neymar, though. This week, just days after he hosted his very own charity poker tournament at the European Poker Tour in Barcelona, the 23-year-old Brazilian soccer superstar was playing poker online when he was dealt a staight flush that won him a whopping €17,810, or just over $20,000.

How do we know Neymar won $20,000 with a straight flush? Because he posted a photo on Instagram, obviously.

How rare is a straight flush? According to PokerStars.net, your odds of getting one are about 30,939-to-1. So, you know, pretty rare.

Of course, a lot of people are going to see this post, notice the €74,791 in his pot, and say, “uh oh, Neymar has a gambliing problem!” But he doesn’t really.

Neymar will earn $14 million this year from FC Barcelona and another $17 million in endorsements for a total income of $31,000,000, which works out to $84,931 per day. That basically means Neyemar was playing poker with about one day’s salary. If you make $60,000 a year, that’s like playing poker with $164.

So in other words, relax. Neymar is doing just fine.
