Derrick Rose Rape Allegation: Bulls Star Reportedly Being Sued by Woman for Drugging and Gang Raping Her
According to TMZ, Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose is being sued by a woman who claims he and two of his friends drugged and gang raped her back in 2013.
It is unknown if the police ever investigated the matter, or if the woman ever filed a police report. However, TMZ reports that she waited two years to file the lawsuit because she was “ashamed and embarrassed” about what happened and worried that her “conservative family” would find out.
The woman, identified in the lawsuit only as Jane Doe, says she dated Rose from 2011 to 2013. During that time, she claims Rose pressured her to masturbate in front of him and engage in group sex, which she refused.
The alleged gang rape is said to have occurred in August 2013. Rose and two of his friends, Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton, invited the woman to Rose’s Beverly Hills home, where she says they slipped her a drug with the intent of raping her. The plaintiff claims she and a friend were able to escape the house, but that the three men later broke into her apartment while she was incapacitated. She says she only remembers “flashes” of what happened from that point on. But those flashes were memories of the three men forcibly raping her.
At this point neither Rose nor his legal representatives have issued any statements regarding this matter. However, given the severity of the accusations, you can be sure they will eventually. So stay tuned.
