Will Smith Takes on the NFL in “Concussion”: Trailer Released (Video)
The NFL has been under fire for their treatment of retired players, especially those suffering from traumatic head injuries as a result of their football careers.
Of course, the NFL doesn’t want its fans to be thinking about this as they spend their hard-earned money to support North America’s richest sports league, but it’s going to be a lot harder for them to hide this glaring issue once everyone gets a load of Will Smith‘s latest movie, Concussion.
In Concussion, Smith plays real-life Pittsburgh forensic pathologist Bennet Omalu, who was the first to discover chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in the brains of football players.
Concussion isn’t set to hit theaters until Christmas Day, so the NFL still has some time to figure out how they plan on covering their asses before everyone sees it.
