Braxton Miller Scores Two Long Highlight Reel TDs vs. V-Tech (Videos)
With a plethora of talented quarterbacks on the Ohio State roster, Braxton Miller decided it would be best to make the move to wide receiver during the off-season. That decision ended up paying huge dividends for the Buckeyes just one game into their 2015 campaign, as the speedy senior scored two key touchdowns during OSU’s 42-24 victory over Virginia Tech on Monday.
The first came on a 54-yard pass from Cardale Jones during the Buckeyes’ first drive of the second half:
That touchdown—Miller’s first as a wide receiver—gave Ohio State a 21-17 lead. Later in the quarter, this electric 53-yard run (spin move included) by Braxton increased that lead to 28-17:
Miller finished the game with six carries for 62 yards, two receptions for 78 yards, and two touchdowns. Not a bad way to start your career as a wide receiver.
