Virginia Tech QB Thinks He’s Invincible, Finds Out He Isn’t vs. OSU (Videos)

Virginia Tech QB Crushed

Virginia Tech QB Michael Brewer was taking quite the beating during the opening half of Monday night’s game against No. 1 ranked Ohio State, but he didn’t seem to be bothered by it one bit.

In fact, the Hokies senior seemed to be welcoming the physical play from the Buckeyes’ defense. ESPN’s cameras even caught him saying the following to a teammate in the locker room during halftime:

Foreshadowing? ¬†Seems like it, because just a few plays after ESPN aired that clip (during the Hokies first drive of the second half), Brewer was on the receiving end of this devastating hit from OSU’s Adolphus Washington:

Brewer was forced to exit the game following that hit and he is now expected to miss 4-8 weeks with a broken collarbone.

I guess Adolphus Washington’s 290-pound frame was the “Helluva lot more” that Brewer was talking about at halftime.
