HS Player Hurdles an Opponent, Then Another One, During TD Run (Video)

I bet if Bryan Gilbert played Madden, he’d use the hurdle feature a lot. Like, every play.

Here he is, in the backfield for Fairmount (WV), when the HS player gets pitched the ball on opponent North Marion’s 30-yard line. After breaking past the line of scrimmage, he clears a waiting tackler by jumping right over him. Then, after finding some daylight, does the same thing about 15 feet from the end zone.

I’m sure a track coach saw this clip and started salivating.

(Here’s the clip.)

The second angle seems almost more impressive, and this kid CAN jump, but constantly jumping over people is a risky proposition.
