The Nick Saban Signature Series Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: For The Alabama Fan Who Needs Nothing But Wants Everything (Video + Gallery)
Are you on the market for a luxury tailgating van designed by a legendary college football coach? If so, the Nick Saban Signature Series Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is probably not for you. Because Nick Saban didn’t actually design it.
However, if you’re on the market for a luxury tailgating van and you’ll settle for “designed with input from a legendary college football coach”—and, of course, you’re not an Auburn fan—then the Nick Saban Signature Series Mercedes-Benz Sprinter might be right up your alley.
Rolled out just in time for the 2015 college football season, the Nick Saban Signature Series Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham (of which Saban is part-owner) and after-market luxury upfitter McSweeney Design of Trussville. The “van” seats nine and features three TVs, high-tech AV equipment, high-grain leather massage chairs, a retracting canopy, and of course hard wood floors.
Oh, and it costs $200,000. Good thing they only made 15.
Here’s a really lame video with one minute of actual footage of the van and two minutes of footage of rich white dudes talking and laughing and shaking hands:
And here’s a gallery, in case you just want to get the gist:
Somebody really should get one of these for Phyllis from Mulga.
