Security Would Not Let Justin Bieber Into the Ring After the Mayweather-Berto Fight (Video)
You don’t have to be a regular reader of TMZ to know that Floyd Mayweather is pretty good friends with Justin Bieber. Anyone who’s followed Mayweather’s career the last few years, either watching the fights on pay-per-view or reading about them afterward, has probably notice Bieber front and center at all of Mayweather’s fights as part of The Money Team walk-in entourage, or right there in the ring with Mayweather afterward posing in the victory photos.
Unfortunately for the Biebs, this fact seems to have escaped the attention of one of the ringside security officers at Mayweather’s fight against Andre Berto on Saturday, because after the fight was over, said security guard refused to let the 21-year-old pop singer in the ring.
As you would expect, the contentious encounter was caught on video. It’s hard to hear what Justin is saying, but you can clearly hear the security guard say, “Do you want to be escorted out in handcuffs young man?” and then, “I don’t care who you are.”
To his credit, it seems as though Bieber opted for acquiescence rather than escalation.
Take a look:
I don’t know about you, but my favorite part is when Bieber’s friend in the Indiana Jones hat gives him a hug afterward, as though he’s just been through something so awful. Classic celebrity douchebaggery!
