There Was a Redskins Fan Dressed in Redface at MetLife Stadium Last Night (Pics)
As you probably know, there are a lot of people who think the Washington NFL team should change its name because the R-word is racist. In fact, I’m one of those people.
But that’s not what this post is about. I’m not going to try to convince you that I’m right because I don’t think that I can. And that’s okay. I don’t think you’re a bad person just because you think the R-word is okay…unleeeeeess you think the R-word is okay and you also go to games dressed in redface. If that’s the case, then yeah, I think there’s a pretty good chance you are racist.
Why do I bring this up? Because there was a Washington fan dressed in redface at Thursday night’s game against the Giants. A game, I should point out, that was played not at FedEx Field in Maryland, but at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Obviously, somebody in the guy’s section snapped some photos, which wound up in the hands of Barstool Sports. Take a look:
Say what you want about the R-word, but painting your face and pretending to be somebody from another race is just never a good idea.
