Kam Chancellor Forces Game-Saving Fumble on Calvin Johnson at One-Yard Line (Video)
The Seattle Seahawks were 0-2 while playing without safety Kam Chancellor to start the 2015 NFL season. They are now 2-0 with him in the line-up after Chancellor made a game-saving tackle on Calvin Johnson, forcing the Lions wide receiver to fumble the football at the Seahawks’ one-yard line just as he was making his way into the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown with under two minutes remaining in Monday’s game.

That play happened with 1:46 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Lions trailing, 13-10. It was ruled a touchback after the ball bounced through the back of the end zone. The Seahawks then proceeded to run out the rest of the clock, hanging on for the nail-biting victory.
Rough night for Calvin Johnson. Right about now he’s probably wondering why Kam Chancellor couldn’t have held out for an extra couple of weeks. Lucky for the Seahawks, he didn’t.
