College Professor Reschedules Midterm for Cubs Wild Card Game, Instantly Becomes Coolest College Professor of All Time (Pic)

college professor reschedules midterm for Cubs wild card game

So there’s this kid named Ben Larson who goes to the University of Illinois. Ben, like a lot of students at the University of Illinois, is a huge Cubs fan. And he planned to cut a few classes this week to drive to Pittsburgh with his family and attend the Cubs’ Wild Card showdown against the Pirates on Wednesday night.

Unfortunately for Ben, he had a midterm for one of his classes scheduled on Thursday, and there was no way he could make it back on time.

However, being a Cubs fan, Ben is also eternally optimistic. So he decided to just be honest and ask the professor if there was any possible way to maybe reschedule the exam. And Ben’s awesome professor, who probably wears jeans and a corduroy sport jacket to class every week, said yes.

Of course, there’s part of me that wants the Cubs to win it all this year, because I know no fan base could possibly enjoy it more. But there’s also a part of me deep down that hopes Ben becomes the next Steve Bartman, somehow botching the Wild Card game for his team.

Does that make me a bad person?
