The vast majority of Toronto sports fans were losing their minds over the Blue Jays’ insane Game 5 win over the Rangers on Wednesday evening. However, the 20,000 or so that showed up at BMO Field to watch Toronto FC’s game against the New York Red Bulls were losing their minds over something else.
That something else? An absolutely insane goal by presumptive MLS MVP Sebastian Giovinco—one that clinched Toronto FC’s first ever MLS playoff berth.

Yep, that’s right. Giovinco made four Red Bulls player look like complete idiots, then he fired a rocket past the outstretched Luis Roles for a goal that may very well end up a finalist for FIFA’s Goal of the Year Award.
And here is the best part. Earlier that day, he played a Euro 2016 qualifier for Italy. IN ITALY. Then he got on a plane, flew back to Toronto, came off the bench, and did that.
Where’s this dude’s bat flip?
