JR Smith Puts Paul George on Skates with Nasty Behind-the-Back Crossover (Video)
In theory, JR Smith is exactly the kind of guy every NBA team wants coming off their bench—somebody who can change the course of a game by hitting some big shots.
In practice, Smith turned out to be absolutely useless to the Cleveland Cavaliers during the NBA Finals.
But hey, at least JR Smith is lighting it up in games that matter the least—i.e., preseason games in which the Cavs are already trailing by 20 points. Just watch as JR Smith puts Paul George on skates with a filthy behind-the-back crossover on Thursday night:
I was going to say Smith broke George’s ankles, but then I was like, nah, too soon.
But back to JR Smith. I’m not a Cavs fan myself, but I assume they would appreciate it if J.R. Smith could pull more moves like that in games that actually matter. LeBron and Matthew Dellavedova can’t do it all.
