Chris Paul Ejected After Telling Ref “Don’t Talk to Me Like I’m a Little Kid” (Video)
Clippers superstar Chris Paul wants to be treated like a grown-ass man. And he doesn’t care if you’re some bum on the street or an NBA referee—if he doesn’t think you’re treating him like a grown-ass man, you’re going to hear about it.
Just take a look at what happened on Tuesday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. During the third quarter of the Clippers’ heated preseason game against the NBA Champion Golden State Warriors, the referee said something to Paul in a manner that Paul did not like. So Paul told the ref flat out, “I got two kids of my own. Don’t talk to me like I’m a little kid.
The ref’s response? He sent CP3 to his room without supper. By which I mean he gave Paul a technical, and since it was his second of the game he was ejected.

I don’t know what the ref said to Chris Paul, but personally I thought the ejection was unnecessary.
That said, it’s quite possible the ref wouldn’t have ejected Paul had it been a regular season game. It might just be that he’s trying to lay down the law in the preseason so guys aren’t walking all over him once the regular season gets underway.
Whatever the case, let it be known: Chris Paul is not taking anyone’s sh*t this year.
