Not Even Henry Rowengartner Could Save The Cubs (Pic + Video)
With their backs against the wall, trailing the New York Mets 3-0 in the NLDS, the Chicago Cubs were pulling out all the stops prior to Game 4 on Wednesday in hopes of staving off elimination for at least one more day.
They even welcomed “Rookie of the Year” star Henry Rowengartner (real name Thomas Ian Nicholas) to Wrigley to see if he could help the team—by watching, not pitching.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work. The Cubs lost, 8-3, and were swept out of the playoffs by the Mets.
They probably could have used Rowengartner on the mound. I don’t care how hot Daniel Murphy is, there’s no way he’s hitting the floater:
