Toronto and Kansas City Libraries engage In Epic Twitter War Over ALCS

In less than an hour the Toronto Blue Jays and the Kansas City Royals will square off in Game 6 of the ALCS.  Should the Royals win, it would mark the end of this high-scoring series, and thus, the end of an epic Twitter battle between public libraries from these two cities.

Confused by that last part?  Allow me to explain.

It all started on Tuesday, after the Royals thrashed the Jays in Game 4 by a score of 14-2, giving them a commanding 3-1 series lead and prompting the Kansas City Public Library to tweet the following to the Blue Jays and the Toronto Public Library:
