Thomas Davis Dislocates Finger, Pops It Back In, Makes Tackle All In The Same Play (Video)
At 5-0, the Carolina Panthers are one of the NFL’s five remaining undefeated teams. One of the main reasons for their success this season has been the play of Cam Newton, who has quietly been one of the league’s best quarterbacks in 2015. And then there’s the Panthers’ defense, which ranks seventh in the league in yards against per game and has yet to give up more than 23 points in a single contest.
That defensive unit is led by their 11-year veteran linebacker, Thomas Davis, who’s providing a good example for the Panthers’ younger players when he does things like dislocate his finger, pop it back into place, and make the tackle on the running back, all in the same play.
That’s exactly what the lifetime Panther did on a screen play to Marshawn Lynch during his team’s week 6 victory over the Seahawks.
