Couple Married In Hockey Jerseys at Tim Horton’s is the Most Canadian Thing Ever (Pics)
If you asked someone to name the first two things that come to mind when you say “Canada,” they may mention maple syrup, poutine, moose, or Justin Bieber. But anyone who really knows about Canadian culture will tell you that the two best answers are “hockey” and “Tim Horton’s.”
As for this Canadian couple, I’m not sure if they were celebrating their love for hockey and coffee (and each other), their patriotism, or both, but on Saturday they had the most Canadian wedding ever inside a Tim Horton’s in Lethbridge, Alberta—with a hockey jersey dress code, an officiant in a referee’s uniform, and pucks as centerpieces.
According to Global News, Greg Arlett and Adonus Wiseman were originally planning on having a destination wedding in Mexico, but when those plans fizzled, they went with Plan B.
