Hawks Players Just Walk Away From Coach Mike Budenholzer As He’s Drawing Up A Play (Video)

Everybody knows about the difficulties coach David Blatt has had with the Cleveland Cavaliers. They have been well-documented. However, as it turns out, Blatt isn’t the only coach in the NBA who has a hard time commanding the room.

Last night in Atlanta, with the Hawks up four on the Heat with nine seconds to play, Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer was trying to draw up a play during a timeout. But whatever that play was, the players were not interested. So they all just turned their backs and walked away.

What did Budenholzer do? He just kept on coaching nobody.

Take a look:

Now, I am not a professional basketball coach, but it seems pretty weird that the players would just walk off while the coach is talking to them. Apparently, though, it did not bother Mike Budenholzer in the slightest:

In any case, the Hawks went on to win 98-92. So, um, I guess it’s all good?
