This Kobe Bryant Finger Roll Airball Will Leave You Shaking Your Head (Videos)
Good news and bad news for Lakers fans this weekend.
The good news? The Lakers finally won a game! On Friday they beat the Nets, who are technically a professional basketball team.
The bad news? Kobe “Five Rings” Bryant still sucks. He scored 18 points against the Nets and then another 18 in a losing effort against the Knicks on Sunday. However, to get to those totals he went 11-for-35 (.314) from the floor and 3-for-14 (.214) from beyond the arc, keeping his player efficiency rating at 12.7.
But just how bad is a 12.7 PER? Well, Anthony Davis currently sits 20th in the league in PER with a 23.8, and the last time Kobe was completely healthy he had a 23.0. So 12.7 is pretty bad.
In the Lakers’ latest loss, however, Kobe wasn’t just laying bricks from the perimeter. On Sunday the guy aired out a layup:

I bet you never thought you’d see a Kobe Bryant finger roll airball. But there you have it.
Personally, I have a hunch that it’s not over for Kobe, and that he’ll get things figured out at some point and be a reasonably effective 37-year-old basketball player. But right now? Yeah, he’s pretty hard to watch.
