Frustrated Jeff Teague Slaps T-Wolves Player in the Face (Video)
The Atlanta Hawks have been one of the NBA’s best regular season teams over the past year and a bit. Last season they were an Eastern Conference-best 60-22, and they entered last night’s game against the T-Wolves with seven victories and just one loss through the first eight games of this season. Simply put, this team is not used to losing during the regular season, especially at home (38-7 at home over the past two seasons heading into Monday night).
And when they do lose? Well, some of the Hawks players can be pretty sore losers, like Jeff Teague, who was caught on camera slapping the T-Wolves’ Nemanja Bjelica in the face with his team trailing by six and just over a minute remaining in the fourth quarter:

While the cameras did catch Teague’s slap, the referees did not. That saved Teague from a technical foul, but it probably won’t save him from earning a fine and/or suspension from the league after they review the incident.
Oh, and the T-Wolves ended up holding on for the 117-107 victory. That should help Bjelica’s face feel a little better.
