Oakland Raiders linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong is being investigated by the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly taunting a police K-9 prior to Sunday’s game between the Raiders and the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field.
No, this is not a report from The Onion. We’re serious.
According to reports, Armstrong lifted his shirt and started pounding his chest while barking at the dog as he made his way onto the field prior to the game. Video footage has been obtained by the Sheriff’s office and they are now determining whether or not they’ll charge the 24-year-old undrafted linebacker.
Taunting a police K-9 in the state of Pennsylvania is a third-degree felony, carrying a maximum penalty of seven years in jail and a $15,000 fine.
