Refs Stop Game Due To Central Michigan Band and Cheerleaders Being Too Loud (Video)
In an instance of being victims of their own success, its seems as though Central Michigan‘s band and cheerleaders were so loud during a Tuesday night football matchup against Toledo that the referee stopped the game to have a chat with them.
While it seems innocuous enough, Toledo ended up winning 28-23, leaving us wondering whether the reduction in noise could be responsible for the five-point difference. Sure, it’s one of those, “If a butterfly flaps its wings…” scenarios, but home teams have an advantage for a reason.
Maybe Central Michigan could also stop being so rough when they tackle Toldeo’s quarterback. I bet if this ref had his way, he’d wrap everyone in safety foam and conduct the game silently. Like a gentleman.
