Aston Villa’s Jordan Amavi Suffers Gruesome Knee Injury During U-21 Euro Qualifier (Video)
I’m not sure why we intentionally watch highlights of gruesome injuries. Maybe we all secretly enjoy watching other humans suffer. Or maybe we all secretly like to rejoice in the fact that it’s not us. All I really know is that it’s kind of messed up.
Nevertheless, here we are, about to look at the gruesome knee injury suffered by Jordan Amavi. The Aston Villa left back was playing a Euro 2017 qualifier for France’s under 21 team on Thursday when he landed awkwardly on the turf and dislocated his knee. The extent of the injury is not yet known, but given the way the bottom half of his leg was kind of pointing the other way, I’m going to say there was probably some ligament and cartilage damage. So if you have him on your fantasy Premiere League team (which is real thing) you might want to start making other arrangements.

Tough break, kid. Or you know, tough sprain, or whatever.
