Ronda Rousey Predicted Her Loss to Holly Holm on “The Tonight Show” Back in October (Video)
If you were shocked by Ronda Rousey‘s defeat at the hands—er, feet—of Holly Holm at UFC 193 on Saturday, you were not alone. It was easily the most unexpected UFC outcome since Anderson Silva got knocked out by Chris Weidman at UFC 162 back in 2013.
Not everyone was surprised to see Rousey get knocked out, though. The guy who won $250,000 on Holly Holm at a Vegas sports book had a pretty good feeling about it. Maybe it’s because he caught Rousey’s interview with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show back in October, wherein she predicted Holm’s strategy perfectly.
“She’s the type of fighter you have to be very patient with,” Rousey explained to Fallon. “She’s going to try to keep distance and keep far away from me and keep me frustrated and to the point where I’ll make a mistake and she’ll try to kick me in the head.”

Of course, Rousey said in October that Holm’s strategy would not be successful. But hey, you can’t be right about everything.
