Well This Evgeni Malkin Spin-O-Rama Backhand Goal Is Just Ridiculous (Video)
I don’t know what Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin actually is. He might be a hockey-playing cyborg sent from the future to save hockey. Or he might just be a beardless Russian wizard. All I really know for sure is that Evgeni Malkin is not a regular human being. Because regular human beings don’t score hockey goals like the one Malkin scored against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.
Now, sure, the Edmonton Oilers are really terrible. But they are technically a professional hockey team. And really, any time a guy steals a puck with a stick-lift on a neutral zone back-check, comes in 1-on-1 on a defender, and does a spin-o-rama before firing a backhander top-shelf over a goalie’s shoulder, it’s kinda impressive.
Take a look:
Yep, that’s ridiculous alright. In fact, I’d say the Evgeni Malkin spin-o-rama goal is even better than the ridiculous goal Malkin scored two weeks ago.
At the rate he’s going, the NHL might just want to create a dedicated Evgeni Malkin highlights channel on YouTube.
