Tramaine Brock Dropped What Might Have Been the Easiest Interception Ever (Video)
There’s something to be said for being in the right place at the right time, especially when you’re a defensive back in the NFL. However, getting there is only half the battle. The other, as Tramaine Brock of the 49ers learned, is actually making the damn play.
Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer launched a 30-yard touchdown pass down the field late in the first half of Sunday’s game, straight into the arms of the waiting defensive back, who dropped the ball.
He dropped it bad.
He was standing there, flat-footed, waiting for the thing with no one around him. Take a look:
Considering the 49ers lost by six, it’s hard not to look at this play as one of the defining moments of the game. Or the 49ers entire season for that matter.
Man, that video is tough to watch.
