J.J. Watt in a Cast After Breaking Hand at Practice, Will Still Play Sunday (Pic)
It’s gonna take more than a broken hand to keep superhuman sack-machine J.J. Watt off the football field.
The Houston Texans defensive end missed practice today and was later seen with a cast on his wrist after breaking his left hand at Wednesday’s practice.
However, being the beast that he is, Watt has made it clear that he’ll be out there when the Texans host the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football, saying the injury is not too painful and he’s had to play through worse in the past. And if Jason Pierre-Paul has taught us anything, it’s that you don’t need two hands to rush the passer.
Watt has yet to miss a game in his NFL career, a streak that is currently at 76 games. Don’t expect a couple of broken bones to prevent him from extending that streak to 77.
