Knicks’ Derrick Williams Says 2 Women Jacked Him For $750K In Jewelry
Stay woke young man. These woman are just as scandalous as dudes as New York Knicks player, Derrick Williams found out the hard way. Williams apparently went to the club to celebrate a win over the lowly Philadelphia 76ers, which is pretty sad.
The women pillaged a Louis Vuitton jewelry case holding a small fortune in basketballer bling, law-enforcement sources said.
“I don’t want to talk about it,” Williams said after the Knicks’ game at Madison Square Garden Saturday night. “It’s still up in the air.”
Williams went to a place called the ‘Up & Down club’, afterward, they headed back to Williams’ Broadway apartment — along with two women whom they had just met and who may have been using false names, the sources said.
After the party at his Apartment was over, everybody went home but not before the two ladies found the Louis Vuitton case stuffed with three-quarters of a million dollars worth of jewelry in one of Williams’ closets.
Police are probing whether the Williams’ theft is part of a pattern of robberies committed by young women who prey upon wealthy, bling-flashing men at clubs and hotel bars, the sources said.
