Lions Fans Rip Matthew Stafford’s Wife For Selling MNF Tickets on StubHub
Since being drafted out of Georgia with the first overall pick in 2009, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has taken his team to the playoffs twice, losing in the Wild Card round on both occasions. Their 2015 playoff hopes have already been dashed, and to no one’s surprise, the fans in Detroit are becoming restless. Not just with their quarterback, but with Stafford’s wife as well.
After purchasing five tickets to tonight’s Monday Night Football match-up between the Lions and the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome, Stafford’s wife, Kelly Hall, couldn’t make it to the game, so she listed the tickets on StubHub and posted the listing on her Instagram account:
What did Lions fans think about this? Some thought nothing of it. They’re her tickets. She can do what she wants with them. Right?
Apparently, some Lions fans couldn’t disagree more with that notion, as they ripped Kelly for trying to make an extra couple of bucks rather than donate them to someone in need:
Hall didn’t seem to appreciate all of the negative feedback, so she got right back on her Instagram account and posted the following:
There you have it. The woman is selling her tickets. Get over it, everyone.
