Beijing Builds Museum To Honor The Life Of Stephon Marbury (Video)

Stephon Marbury Museum

In America, Stephon Marbury is a solid basketball player who had a successful 13-year career in the NBA.

In China, Stephon Marbury is God. And when you’re God, people build 300-square-meter museums in your honor, which is exactly what the city of Beijing did for Marbury.

The House of Marbury Museum had its unveiling on Monday. It is located in the city’s downtown core and features photos and memorabilia that dates from Marbury’s childhood, all the way to his final days of playing basketball as a member of the Beijing Ducks—where he won three CBA championships and one CBA Finals MVP.

Here are some photos from the unveiling:

If you’d like to check out the House of Marbury Museum, I suggest you fly down to Beijing and do so soon. I bet it won’t be long before the Chinese replace it with “The House of Kobe Bryant Museum.”
