Eagles Player Didn’t Want To Risk Injury For Non-Playoff Team; Removed Himself
This story pretty much sums up the entire Philadelphia Eagles season. The signing of DeMarco Murray was an absolute trainwreck, Eagles offseason was a trainwreck as well and now this.
Howard Eskin of FOX 29 in Philadelphia reported that Eagles tackle Jason Peters decided to take himself out of last night’s game vs. the Washington Redskins because the Eagles had no chance of winning.

Looks like Peters has lost some fans in the process.
Remove Jason peters from this team immediately @Eagles

No longer a fan of Jason Peters. That’s disgraceful.

Jason Peters lost a fan today.

Jason Peters should tell the Eagles fans who paid full price for their tickets he doesn’t want to play in games with no playoff meaning.
